Hey, what can I say -- if your sound is generally working, and your
tv reception is fine, the likely culprit is still the mixer.
You may need the snd-bt87x module.
Sometimes the mixers dont show all available controls;
# amixer controls
# amixer scontrols
Default settings are in the file /var/lib/alsa/asound.state.
If you keep having problems, I would ask on the ALSA list.
